Subject: Earl Ofari Hutchinson Faces The Reality
Hello Terry,
I regularly attend the meetings in Leimert Park, at the Urban Policy Round Table. Three weeks ago I also was in attendance when LAPD Chief Bratton refused to answer the questions of concerned citizens regarding public safety and the issue of ethnic cleansing. He became very irate when Naji Ali recited specific incidents throughout the city involving various Mexican gangs attacking innocent blacks with the intent of driving them from various neighborhoods. The chief said that it was very careless to utter such inflammatory rhetoric, so Earl Hutchinson, stated that for the following three weeks he would be holding round table discussions reaching out to Latino leadership to deal with race relations. First week passed, the topic dealt with the politics. Second week came, the topic was about a pedofile in one of the local schools.
Last Saturday, they discussed the Rev. Jeremiah Wright issue. Having had enough I asked Earl, ''What happened to the meetings with the Mexican leadership?'' Earl shrugged his shoulders and let out a breath in frustration and said,''Folks, I've made endless calls to certain individuals but I haven't been able to get a response or any cooperation!'' Another brother stated that he had called a local Mexican organization to see if they were interested in coming, to which the Mexican guy told him ''Why should giants meet with midgets!!!"
